## What is SeznamBot?

SeznamBot collects pages for Seznam.cz search results.

Seznam publishes SeznamBot’s IP ranges, and genuine crawler hostnames end in seznam.cz.

## How to block or allow SeznamBot

Put the robots.txt rule in the file at the root of every domain and subdomain, for example ` https://example.com/robots.txt `. The token ` SeznamBot ` is matched case-insensitively.

## How to verify real SeznamBot traffic

Seznam publishes the IP ranges that SeznamBot uses. A request with the ` SeznamBot ` user agent from an IP outside that list is an impersonator. [Official IP list (JSON)](https://search.seznam.cz/ipranges/seznambot.json).

Reverse DNS check: look up the request IP, confirm the hostname ends in **seznam.cz**, then look up that hostname and confirm it returns the same IP.

## How to find SeznamBot in your server logs

Search the web server access log for the token. This command counts SeznamBot requests per URL on Nginx or Apache:
